FAQ

General

Q Do you offer samples?

A.Yes. Pink Paper, Ink offers samples for $2.50 each. Each sample comes with an invitation, response card, corresponding envelopes, and custom color chart. Sample cards are intended to show you the quality of the paper, inks, and saturation of our printing process. In order to remain as green as possible, we do not carry a stock of all designs. If you order a sample card, you will receive the design in stock. Samples will have generic text and cannot be personalized. We highly recommend ordering samples to ensure that you order the right color (computer screens can sometimes be misleading in terms of color).

Q Why should I choose Pink Paper, Ink?

A. Pink Paper, Ink offers a mailing service no one else does. Our modern wedding stationery is printed on high-quality recycled paper with soy inks, making our products very eco-friendly. And to top it off, we donate 15% of our profits to the fight against breast cancer (see below for more information). Style, peace of mind, and it only takes a few minutes to handle what used to take forever and favors from friends…who could ask for more?

Ordering & Payment

Q Should I order my wedding invitations and enclosures together or separately?

A.It is best to order all of your wedding stationery together so that you can ensure the best color matching. We have no pre-printed material and each order is printed fresh for each bride. Ordering everything together guarantees that all of your pieces will be exactly the same color.

Q Will my invitations come preassembled?

A.No. Your invitations, response cards, enclosure cards, and envelopes will be not be pre-assembled. However, if you wish to have your stationery pre-assembled, we do offer this service with our full Mailing Service. Our full Mailing Service (U.S. addresses ONLY) is where we handle everything (printing, assembly, sealing, and wedding postage).

Q When should I order my wedding invitations?

A.The general rule is to send your invitations out 6 weeks prior to the wedding in order to receive your guests’ responses in time. Our turnaround time is 3-5 business days + shipping time. The latest you should order your invitations is 8 weeks prior to the wedding, but we recommend placing your order as soon as you have the details set.

Q When will my credit card be charged?

A.Your credit card will be charged when you submit your order.

Q Will my invitation look exactly like the online preview?

A.Your invitation will look very close to the preview you see online. Some minor adjustments to font size and placement may be made due to the length of names and wording, but you will get to see and approve these changes when your electronic proof is delivered.

Q What happens after I submit my order?

A.Once you submit your order, a designer at Pink Paper, Ink will check over your order for errors, make minor layout adjustments if necessary, and complete any changes you requested in the special instructions box. Once your order is reviewed, an electronic proof will be sent to your email within 1 business day. After you approve your proof by responding to the email, your order will go to print. This process, including printing, takes 3-5 business days. After printing, your order will be shipped and a tracking number will be sent to you through email.

Q How long will it take to get my invitations?

A.Processing time for all orders is approximately 3-5 business days. Shipping your order depends on your location and which shipping option you choose.

Q Will I get to see a proof before printing?

A.Because Pink Paper, Ink operates in the state of Texas, Texas residents will be charged sales tax. Residents of other states will not be charged sales tax.

Q Do you offer any discounts?

A.Yes. Pink Paper, Ink periodically runs promotions and special discounts. Please sign up for our newsletter so stay up to date on our promotions.

Q My wording got cut off while I was personalizing my card. What should I do?

A.If your wording is cut off, do not worry. While our previewing software only shows so many lines of text, ALL of the text you enter is saved on the card. So, when you place the order, our designers will see ALL of the text you entered and adjust the layout of the card to make sure the text fits and looks right. Once the changes are made, you will receive an electronic proof to approve or make changes to before the design is printed.
